Update

I know a lot of you have been wondering how Levi is doing. The last couple of days have been a ton better. His good spells have been getting longer and longer. He has let me sleep all night the last two nights. I have been so happy about that.(Yes that is a happy dance.) We started him last week on an anti-anxiety medicine and a cramping medicine. Those appear to be helping. No more pain medicine for now.

Well, I do have to tell you about the wonderful blessing I recieved this weekend. Steven's mom comes over and babysits Levi so I can run errands on Friday afternoons. It is my time to get out and go to the bank and grocery store and whatever else I need to do. Debbie babysitting every Friday is a blessing in itself. This Friday I came home to an extremely clean house. While I was out running my errands my Mother-in-law let some of my wonderful friends into my home and they cleaned it from top to bottom. This was a huge blessing since I had not gotten any cleaning done for a couple of weeks since I was spending all my time holding Levi. One of the things that hit me the most as I was thinking about what these girls had done for me, was what a picture of community. As we have been having so much transition at our church lately, I was reminded that a church family is really about ministering to each other, serving one another, and sharing each other's joys. Galatians 6:2 says to "bear one another's burdens." That is absolutely what these wonderful friends did for me. These girls rock my face off. Thank you again Lisa, Kim, Peta, Jessie, Jerilyn, Carmen, and Amy.

4am

Well it is almost 4:30 in the morning and I am sitting up with Levi. He is not a fan of being laid down tonight. So no sleep for me. Oh well it happens sometimes. I am taking the opportunity to get some computer time. However typing with one hand can be a little difficult.

In honor of Father's Day here is a scrapbook page I did a couple months ago. I thought it was a really cute pic of Steven and Levi.

Update

Well I know a lot of you have been worrying about and praying for sweet Levi since I posted that he was having some problems. It looks like the pain medicine has work and whatever was wrong is better. He hasn't had any of the pain medicine in a couple of days and he has been a little angel. I haven't heard a peep out of him. Sometimes I have to go check on him because he has been so quiet. So thank you for all your prayers.

Since little man has been so good I did get some crafty time yesterday. I got my Father's Day cards made and I made this cutie pie notebook for myself. I like to have something to write in when I am having a quiet time.

My friend Leslie Pendleton came and visited me today. That was a lot of fun to sit around and chit chat. Girl time is fun. And I had a blast playing with her little guy as well. Two is a fun age.

Well I am off to read some my favorite blogs (my favorite thing to do) and then maybe some laundry. Until next time.

Levi

OK I know that most of you that will visit this blog really are interested in Levi more than anything else. You think my scrapbook pages are cute, but you really want to know about the little man. Well he is doing good this week. Last week was another story. He became very upset toward the end of last week. He was unconsolable and obviously in pain. This was very hard to watch. I have a really hard time when I can't make him feel better. That is what mommies are supposed to do, make you feel better. We had to put him on some pain medicine (Tylenol w/codeine). At first he was kind of groggy acting, but I think we have that fixed and he is back to being his normal self. Fussy only some of the time. Well here is a pic of him a few weeks ago in his Sunday best. Thanks to Miss Marie for the super cute outfit.

What have I been up to?

Besides taking care of Levi and trying to keep my housework under control, I have been taking a really fun online scrapbooking class. It is called Got Sketch 101. I am having a blast. Here is a layout and a card I have already created for the class.
